Here’s how it works:
- Selective Sharing: With Private Sharing, you can choose specific contacts who can view the files you’re sending. These chosen contacts won’t be able to share your files with anyone else.
- Expiration Dates: You can set an expiration date for shared files. Once the time limit expires, access to those files also expires. This feature gives you control over how long others can access the shared content.
- Read-Only and No Screenshots: You can make files read-only and block screenshotting. Recipients won’t be able to edit or alter the files, and you’ll know when they received and opened them.
- Encryption: All Private Sharing files are encrypted, ensuring data security during transmission.
Keep in mind that Private Sharing currently works only with Samsung devices. While Quick Share is compatible with other Android devices, recipients must also have Samsung phones or tablets to use Private Sharing.

The new GDDR7 operates at an impressive 32Gbps, which is a 60% improvement over the previous generation. Depending on the circumstances, it can even reach speeds of up to 40Gbps.
SK hynix achieved this while improving power efficiency by over 50% compared to the previous generation. When used in high-end graphics cards, GDDR7 can process data at a rate of more than 1.5TB per second.
To put that in perspective, it’s equivalent to handling data from 300 Full-HD movies (5GB each) in just one second.SK hynix addressed the heat issue by increasing the layer count of heat-dissipating substrates from four to six. They also used a new packaging material called EMC 2, which reduced thermal resistance by 74% while maintaining the product size.
